Shipping Policy
At Soul and Tail, every order is prepared with care, because the right gear should feel ready before the adventure begins. We want each package to arrive safely, smoothly, and ready to become part of life with your dog.
Basic Information
Where do you ship?
Soul and Tail currently ships within the United States, including all 48 contiguous states, Washington D.C., Alaska, and Hawaii.
We do not currently ship to U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or international destinations. We hope to expand to more destinations in the future.

How much does shipping cost?
We offer two shipping options at checkout for the contiguous 48 states and Washington D.C.:
- Standard Shipping: $6.95 flat rate (5–7 business days after shipment)
- Expedited Shipping: $14.95 flat rate (2–3 business days after shipment)
For orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, Standard Shipping is offered at a flat rate of $14.95 (7–10 business days after shipment). Expedited Shipping is not available for these destinations.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free Standard Shipping on all U.S. orders over $79, including orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.
The free shipping threshold is calculated after discounts and before taxes.
If your order qualifies, the free shipping option will be shown at checkout.
Free shipping applies to Standard Shipping only and does not apply to Expedited Shipping selections.
After you Place an Order
How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after they are placed.
During this time, we review your order, prepare your items, and make sure your Soul and Tail gear is packed carefully before it leaves our facility. Processing time is separate from shipping time, which begins once your package has been handed over to the carrier.
Orders placed on weekends or U.S. holidays will usually begin processing on the next business day. During product launches, promotional periods, holidays, or periods of higher order volume, processing may take slightly longer.
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery time depends on the shipping option you select at checkout:
- Standard Shipping (Contiguous 48 + D.C.): 5–7 business days after shipment
- Expedited Shipping (Contiguous 48 + D.C.): 2–3 business days after shipment
- Standard Shipping (Alaska & Hawaii): 7–10 business days after shipment
Delivery times may vary depending on your location, the selected shipping method, carrier conditions, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside of our control. Please note that delivery estimates are not guaranteed. While we do our best to prepare and ship orders promptly, the final delivery timeline is managed by the carrier once your package is in transit.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to follow your package as it moves through the carrier's network.
Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking information to update after the carrier receives your package.
If your tracking link has not updated right away, it usually means the carrier has created the label but has not yet completed the first scan. In most cases, tracking will begin updating within the next business day.
Order Changes & Delivery Issues
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible at support@soulandtail.co.
We'll do our best to help before your order is processed, but we cannot guarantee address changes once an order has entered processing or has shipped.
To avoid delays or delivery issues, please make sure your shipping information is complete and accurate before placing your order. Soul and Tail is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.
What if my package is delayed or lost?
Once a package has been handed over to the carrier, delivery timing and handling are managed by the carrier.
If your package is significantly delayed, marked as delivered but not received, or appears to be stuck in transit, please first check the tracking information for the latest carrier update. Sometimes packages are scanned early, delayed by weather or carrier volume, or delivered within 1–2 business days after being marked as delayed.
If the issue continues, please contact us at support@soulandtail.co with your order number and tracking details. We'll help you review the situation and determine the next step.
What should I do if my package arrives damaged?
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us at support@soulandtail.co as soon as possible.
Please include your order number and clear photos of:
- The damaged package
- The shipping label
- The damaged item
This helps us review the issue and assist you more efficiently. Please keep the original packaging and item until we have completed our review, as the carrier may require documentation for a damage claim.
We strive to make sure your gear arrives in the condition it was meant to be used: ready for the next walk, trail, or everyday adventure.
