FAQ
Which collar is right for my dog?
It comes down to how your dog wears it and where you're headed. The Daily Fit Collar is the everyday baseline — clean colorways, soft against the coat, made for daily wear. The Daily Fit Collar Explorer carries the same build with woven landscape patterns across the webbing, for owners who want a little more on the collar that lives on their dog year-round. Both sized around mid-to-large breeds.
How does the magnetic buckle work?
The two halves of the buckle pull toward each other on their own — line them up loosely and they snap into place. To release, press the side tabs inward and pull apart. The magnet handles alignment; the latch underneath is mechanical, so it closes one-handed but won't open under a pull.
What's the difference between the Daily Fit Collar and the Daily Fit Collar Explorer?
The Daily Fit Collar comes in solid colorways — clean, quiet, easy to match with anything. The Explorer uses jacquard-woven landscape patterns: mountain ridges, forest lines, scenes pulled from the kind of places you'd actually take your dog. Both share the magnetic buckle, the aluminum D-ring, and the same fit range. The Explorer runs a bit higher because the patterned weave takes more work on the loom.
How do I figure out what size collar to get?
Wrap a soft tape measure around the base of your dog's neck, where their collar naturally sits, and add about two fingers' width for comfort. That number is your neck circumference. Match it to the size range on the product page — or check our full Size & Fit Guide, which covers every product in one place. Between sizes, size up; the collar adjusts within its range.
How do I clean a dog collar?
Most of the time, a damp cloth and a little mild soap is all it takes. For something deeper, hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent, rinse thoroughly, and let it air dry away from direct heat. Skip the washing machine and the dryer — both are hard on the hardware and the woven pattern over time.
Does my dog need a collar or a harness?
Most dogs do best with both. The collar carries their ID tag and stays on all the time. The harness comes out for walks, especially if your dog pulls, has a sensitive throat, or you want more control on the leash. A collar is the everyday baseline; harnesses is the upgrade for active time.
