Which harness is right for my dog?

How do you measure a dog for a harness?
To measure for a dog harness, you'll need tailor's tape or a long string that you can measure later. Start by wrapping the tape or string around the widest part of your dog's rib cage, typically right behind the front legs in the chest area. Make sure the tape or string is snug but not too tight. Once you have the measurement, refer to our sizing chart to find the appropriate harness size for your dog based on their girth measurement. This ensures a comfortable and secure fit for your canine companion.
Can I wash the harness?
Yes. Hand wash with mild soap and water, then air dry. The gear is built to handle the elements — mud, water, snow, trail dust. That's what they're made for.
Does my dog need a collar or a harness?
There are reasons to have both in your dog's kit.Dog collarsare essential for holding your dog's identification, license, and other tags. Dogs who aren't pullers can often walk on leash with just a collar. For dogs that pull, harnesses tend to be more comfortable by decreasing pressure on their neck. Harnesses are also more secure and harder to back out of.
